I am so excited to be sharing some positive information and numbers. After three years of doing these quarterly updates, this is the first time I’ve had a chance to report positive numbers. Here in the Western Upstate MLS, 538 residential homes sold year to date in 2010. That is an increase of +6% verses the same period last year of number of units sold. The Western Upstate MLS is made up of Anderson, Pickens, & Oconee Counties. The average price of all homes across the Western Upstate is also a positive number! It is +5% verses through 1st quarter year ago. The average sold to list price is 93% year to date in the Western Upstate MLS. Below is a chart with the actual numbers which shows the statistics for the waterfront homes on separately:
